Stylelicious: Batting my lashes at Camel

I guess one can’t always classify things as OOTD when I wasn’t wearing it the whole day or would not wear it till dusk because the weather is just not supporting. But I think I could call it some sort of Style inspiration or a Look I’m liking… and instead of calling it something like Look of the Day or Style of the Day, I opt for something more delicious… like Stylelicious… is that cool?

Cool Smile

Then what’s this Camel talk? It’s the star of the show – a pair of camel beige brown colour that is… a colour in which I have been eyeing and ooh-ing and aah-ing and wishing I have one in my wardrobe… and I do now! In a form of…

pair of shorts – they are leather and a little on the high waist side but not too high and has a belt which is just a tight pull to the side.

I paired it with a plain white tank and a brown blazer that I somewhat found in my mother’s wardrobe.

And down below… you could see a full body photo of the outfit together…

Red is actually another colour I’ve been loving and eyeing… I want a red blazer or red lipsticks… red is just oomph!! I even fell in love with Benetint, something I never thought I’d wear but now in my wishlist!

What colour have you been eyeing lately? Any particular shade you like to lean towards?

Hope you enjoyed this post and have a great week everyone!

POTD Naked Palette

POTD – Picture of the day? Or can I say… Product of the day?

I’m trying to contain my excitement when I saw the black parcel stamped beautybay.com at my doorstep. If you all been following us on twitter – beautybay would be the best source on things you cannot get in Australia in regards to… Urban Decay Naked Palette. It was in stock for a short while before it always sells out. And by luck, I was browsing the site not long ago and saw it in stock I jumped into the opportunity of owning my own palette from Urban Decay. This is my 2nd palette from UD and I cannot be more pleased and happy. The first one was the Alice in Wonderland and I love it to bits!

So yes, after a long long wait… here it is… I finally have it in my arms, I mean… within my palms… I simply used my blackberry to take a quick shot of it before I start swatching and whatnot tomorrow…

Stare at it, stroke it if you wish… I think this palette is worth it. It’ll last you a long time and definitely shades that I wear all the time, anytime, anywhere and can’t go wrong. It includes the mini Primer Potion (handy!) and an eyeshadow brush (which I find would be very useful – since I’m not too big of a fan of the 24/7 liners since they smudge on me anyway).

If I ever fell in love with a palette at first sight – this is it. I know I’m probably one of the last people in the beauty community to have my own Naked palette but it’s been worth the wait.

Looking forward to practice my eye looks with Naked Winking smile!!!

I came home today to find a parcel from Singapore and I straight away beamed in excitement – it’s my first ever blog giveaway win! I won cheryl-beauty blog giveaway recently and it’s just so exciting when you’ve won something ‘cause I’ve not won a blog giveaway before!!

POTD: Sashimi says…

If a picture says a thousand words… this is what I had last night and no words could describe its deliciousness. I, in particular, enjoyed the octopus so much I’d love it more if they have half a plate of it and half a plate of squid and half a plate of salmon. Hah!

Mani Monday: Bare

What’s on your nails today? Tomorrow? Well, I have to have mine ‘bare’ for this week so I thought I would share with you… my bare nails. Is that too boring for you? Well… even for bare nails I do like to really buff them and polish and give them a little ‘tlc’, if you know what I mean. I like to use cuticle oil to at least give them the well needed extra oomph and I buff them to get that nice even surface.

If you know any recommendation for good nails related conditioner or cuticle oils, do share… in the comment below. I’m always up for a good bare nails =) You know, yes I love coloured nails but there’s nothing more satisfying than these bare nails lookin’ gooooodd~ ya knoww…

Hope you all have a great week everyone!

Stay beautiful
