Hydrate your lips with Jane Iredale Lip Drink

I don’t encounter too many Jane Iredale but this one that fits snuggly in my palm in my pocket is one little gem.

Packaging
Encased in gunmetal tube that clicks when you close the lid makes it feel luxurious. It reminds me of Hourglass Cosmetics range.

Scent
You will instantly be drawn to its Lemon Peel fragrance. For those who hate lemon scent, unfortunately this one won’t be for you. It really does smell distinctively of lemon.

Ingredients
Active: Zinc Oxide 8%.
Others: Macadamia Seed Oil, Beeswax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sunflower Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Carnauba Wax, Candelilla Wax, Jojoba Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Lemon Peel Oil, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl palmitate.

Discussion
Ascorbyl palmitate – is a form of Vitamin C

Tocopherol – a form of Vitamin E

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride – a fractionated Coconut Oil (fraction of the whole oil used for medical application)

Thoughts
I like it. I don’t need to apply with my fingers and it looks so classy and chic I carry it everywhere for an instant drink for my parched lips in this dry winter days and night.

It also contains Zinc Oxide which provides UVA/UVB protection with its SPF15 rating. The Skin Cancer Foundation has also approved and recommended this product as an effective UV sunscreen. Perfect for the sunny Australian day time.
